Peter Nauth, age 63, of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

There will be a memorial gathering at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. There will be a time to share memories at the funeral home at 6:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.

Peter Leroy Nauth was born on August 5, 1950 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Daniel and Nora (Kriese) Nauth. Following graduation from Kiel High School in 1968, Peter graduated from UW Madison and went on to earn his MBA from Keller School of Business. On August 10, 1980, he was united in marriage with Linda Lovinger in Plymouth, WI. Peter worked for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture as an Economist. People enjoyed Peter’s dry sense of humor and quick wit.  One of Peter’s simple pleasures was music; he loved to listen to music.  He was known for his gardening, cooking, and cheesecakes.

Peter is survived by his wife Linda of Beaver Dam; his daughter, Jessica (Patrick) Underhill, of Albany, NY; a sister, Janet Vogel of Kiel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard Nauth; and a brother-in-law, Gene Vogel.
