Norma Mae Schultz, age 94, of Horicon, and formerly of Fox Lake, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Matthews of Horicon.

The visitation for Norma will be at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Horicon on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 11:00 AM until 11:50 AM. The funeral service will follow at the church on Friday at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Daniel Seehafer officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Fox Lake on Friday at 2:30 PM.

The former Norma Mae Schlaitzer was born on December 21, 1918 in the Town of Scott, Columbia County, Wisconsin to Albert and Elsie (Kath) Schlaitzer. On June 8, 1941 she was united in marriage with Russell Schultz at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake. Norma was the clerk treasurer for the City of Fox Lake from 1952 until 1981. She was a charter member and past secretary of the Fox Lake Historical Society and volunteered at the Historical Room at the Fox Lake Library. Norma was a past member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake and was a member of the Altar Guild. In 1996 she moved to Horicon where she became a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church and was a member of the Women’s Missionary League. Norma volunteered for Bethesda and was a member of the Horicon American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting and sewed quilts for World Relief.

Survivors are her husband, Russell of Horicon; children, Jean Marie (David) Przekurat of Wild Rose and David (Karla) Schultz of DePere; grandchildren, Dianne (Greg) Bolstad, Deborah (Brad) Arndt, Denise Przekurat, Donna (Brian) Braun, Laura (Blair) Gruman, and Jessika Schultz; six great grandchildren; sister, Bette Lienhard of Waupun; three nephews, Glen, Mark and Stephen Lienhard; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Delbert Schlaitzer.
