Holiday Greetings from Art, Deb and the Mischler crew!

The year is 1958 – Colts & Giants play in the NFL Championship game in what becomes called the “Greatest game ever played.”  Colts 23 / Giants 17.  Do you remember who was the Quarterback for the Colts?  Earlier that same year Bill Mischler a young motorcycle mechanic from Waupun toured the Harley Davidson factory in Milwaukee.  The rest, as they say – is history.

Bill opens Mischler’s Harley Davidson on S. Center St. in Beaver Dam.  A top hit on the charts –  “Great Balls of Fire” – Jerry Lee Lewis.  “Sugartime” – The McGuire Sisters.  “Hard Headed Woman” – Elvis Presley.

55 years later Mischler’s Harley Davidson remains in Beaver Dam.  Art Mischler, who as a young lad started “wrenchin” right along side of his dad, remains ready to help.

Knowledgeable – soft spoken and unassuming – Art knows Harley’s.

Art, Deb and the crew offer the best selection of new and preowned motorcycles in the Dodge County area.  A large selection of Harley Davidson “MotorClothes” – accessories, collectibles and necessities or the biker enthusiast in your family.  Art or Deb will be happy to help you find that special holiday gift.

Quiz Art what line of Harley was first introduced in 1957 – he’ll answer immediately!

While you’re at Mischler’s – straddle a new bike – riding weather is just around the corner.

The entrepreneurial spirit lives on with the 3rd generation – Eric & Dan Mischler have joined the workforce to learn the craft and support the great sport of motorcycling.  Stop by the showroom.  It’s good to do business with your neighbors.
