Obituary: Rosemarrie A. Vogel

Rosemarrie A. Vogel, 83, of Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam with the Rev. Terry Larson officiating.  A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, April 16th from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. at First Ev. Lutheran Church. Interment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in Town of Trenton.

Rosemarrie was born the daughter of Ferdinand and Gunda “Goldie” (Pederson) Gosse on October 10, 1930 in Waldo, WI. She was married to Alvin Vogel on December 7, 1957 at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Rosemarrie was employed at Green Giant Canning Factory in Beaver Dam, Del Monte Canning Factory in Cambria, and Wisconsin Cheeseman in Sun Prairie. She was also a caregiver since she was 11 years old.

Rosemarrie was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She loved playing bingo, was a collector of angels and was an excellent cook. Most of all, Rosemarrie loved her family, children and grandchildren. 

Rosemarrie is survived by: her husband Alvin of Beaver Dam; her daughters Laura (John) Minnig of Beaver Dam and Heidi (Joel) Harbaugh of McDonough, GA; her son Brent (Amanda) Vogel of Oregon, WI; her sister Anna Karr of Fond du Lac;  8 grandchildren- Derrick (Amanda) Minnig, Mitchell Minnig, Melissa (Adam) Emery, Heather Holbach, Matthew (Sadye) Holbach, Kayley Outhouse, Jarrett Vogel and Grant Vogel; 1 great grandson Hunter Emery, and one due in September; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

She was preceded in death by: her parents, her son Curtis “Tiny” Vogel, and her brothers Elmer and Rolland.
