Kenneth C. Knoll, age 59, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at his home in Beaver Dam surrounded by his family.
There will be a memorial gathering at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 North Crystal Lake Road in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Ken was born on October 27, 1954, the son of Francis and Joyce (Vande Zande) Knoll. He loved to hunt and fish and seemed to have the ability to catch fish even when no one else could. Ken also enjoyed cooking and even attended culinary school for his own enjoyment. Those who knew Ken will remember him as being easy-going and upbeat.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Ter Laan of Beaver Dam; two sons, Mike (Jenny) Ter Laan and Mark Ter Laan, both of Beaver Dam; five grandchildren, Olivia, Cody, Jordan, Shania, and Rhianna; two sisters and a brother, Gloria (Steve) Brice of Sheboygan, Dale (Joanne) Knoll of Fox Lake, and Kathy (Ron) Cameron of Montana; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Kristopher Knoll; and a cousin, Dawn Dykstra.
