Scott Paul Bristol of Beaver Dam passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Born on September 26, 1969, he was the son of Paul and Susan Bristol.

A 1987 graduate of Beaver Dam High School, Scott lettered in Hockey, a sport he loved playing since childhood.  His appreciation for all kinds of cars began while working for M & R Auto after graduation, and he loved spending his spare time tinkering with his classic Audi. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business at the UW Oshkosh in 1998.

Scott met the love of his life, Aline Hallenn Calaca, in 2007, and they were married in her native Brazil on July 12, 2008.  They settled in Appleton, Wisconsin, where he worked for Midwest Sheet Metal. The couple loved working out at the local gym, spending time boating on the lake with friends and, because they shared a love of aircraft and flying, attended the yearly EAA Show in Oshkosh.  The couple moved to Brazil in 2013 and then to Pompano Beach, Florida in 2014 where Scott started his own business, Bristol Global, dealing with buying and selling cars.

Scott is survived by his wife Aline Calaca Bristol, his parents Paul and Susan (Freitag) Bristol of Beaver Dam, his brother, Jeffery Alan Bristol of Charleston South Carolina, and his dearly loved grandmother, Delma Baker, of Madison Wisconsin, his aunts, uncles, and many cousins, his dear godmother, Linda Kay Larry of Madison, WI, a and his beloved Yorkie, Joao Calaca Bristol as well as his Brazilian family.

In addition to always being ready to lend a hand or a shoulder, Scott’s smile and engaging personality made him a valued friend to all and a brother to many.

A memorial service for Scott will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam.  A visitation will also be held on Thursday, May 22nd from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
