Katherine A. Rux, 90, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam surrounded by her loving family.
Katherine Anna was born the daughter of Jacob and Anna (Hasenstab) Csiacsek on November 21, 1923 in Beaver Dam. She was a 1942 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. She had been employed at Weyenberg Shoe Factory for three years and then employed with the telephone company for 15 years. She had also been employed with the Beaver Dam Care Center and the Cheeseman of Sun Prairie for seasonal work.
Katherine had been a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, the Christian Women and the Apostle of the Suffering. She also enjoyed going to the Senior Citizen Center, playing bingo and going to the casinos.
Katherine is survived by her brother Jim (Becky) Csiacsek of Beaver Dam and her special niece and god daughter Mary Ann Otto of Beaver Dam. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, two brothers: John Csiacsek and Richard Csiacsek, sisters-in-law: Stella and Betty, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation for Katherine will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 511 S. Spring St., Beaver Dam. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Father Erick Cassiano and Deacon Edward F. Cody. Interment will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
