Dolores G. (nee Rambow) Firari, 84, of Juneau passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam with Mr. Dan Dowd officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and also Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. all at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, Township of Trenton, WI.
Dolores was born the daughter of Edgar and Mamie (Gadow) Rambow on June 10, 1930 at the home of her parents in Atwater, WI. She was married to Edward Firari who preceded her in death on October 30, 1988.
Dolores was a lifelong resident of Dodge County. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School on June 2, 1948. Dolores retired from the Eaton Corporation in January 1993 after working there for 28 ½ years. After retirement, she enjoyed bowling, crocheting, playing cards, dominoes, canasta as well as watching and attending Brewer’s games. Dolores was a member of United Church of God where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Dolores is survived by her two children: Sandra Firari of Waterloo and Curtis (Cathy) Firari of Juneau; seven grandchildren: Jason (Carol) Lauersdorf, Troy (Jess) Lauersdorf, Tracy (Janelle) Lauersdorf, all of Waterloo, Nicole (Craig) Wolff of Reeseville, Joshua (Ami) Lauersdorf of Waterloo, and Anthony (Amanda) Firari and Danielle Firari of Juneau; 14 great grandchildren: Cody Lauersdorf, Sarah Schwartz, Mitchell, Brooke, Keegan, Briana, Brynlee, Braya, Jayk, Levi and Lilli Lauersdorf, Joslyn and Eugene Wolff and Lexington Firari; two great-great grandchildren: Nikomi and Jayden Sullivan; her in-laws: Ruby Voss, Dorothy Schwoch, Milton Firari, Louis (Kathy) Firari, Robert Firari, Herbert (Delores) Firari, Joe Firari, Shirley Breit, Nancy (John) Dippong; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Lorraine Toellner, three brothers: Junior Edgar Rambow and Arthur and Roy Voss, her in-laws: Elva Voss, Alvin Toellner, Raymond and Virginia Firari, Phyliss Firari, Rose Firari, Edwin Schwoch, Allen Breit, Ralph Rennack , Luceil Firari, Joanne and Raymond Breit and Gladys Firari.
