Austin Michael Reifsnider, age 17, of Juneau, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Austin was born on August 7, 1997. The only child of Michael Reifsnider and Tina (Weiland) Reifsnider. What a joy he was! He was truly loved by everyone who knew him. He was in his senior year at Dodgeland High School. Austin loved life; his passion was motorcycle racing, especially when he was wearing the FOX logo on his chest. He had a bedroom full of racing trophies to support this statement. He was very proud of his accomplishments. He loved to snowmobile with his dad and grandpas. He was fortunate enough to snowmobile in Yellowstone, Montana, a few years ago. Hunting and fishing were important to him also. He was an avid sportsman. Austin had a warm smile and a kind heart. He LOVED kids. Whenever he was around his nieces and cousins he had one of them in his arms. They all loved their Austin and loved being with him. He was always a good time.

Austin is survived by his dad, Michael (Kelley) Reifsnider of Juneau; his mother, Tina Reifsnider of Montello; step brothers, Justin (Crystal) Stalker of Watertown, Ryan (Hailey) Stalker of Piepersville, and Jordan Stalker of Juneau; his grandparents, Bill and Sue Reifsnider of Beaver Dam, Frank and Judi Weiland, and Marilynn and Robert Chesbrough, all of Wautoma; his God-parents, Uncle Dave Weiland, Aunt Barb Moen and Aunt Jill Tetting. He is further survived by uncles and aunts, Jeff and Sherry Reifsnider of Beaver Dam, Pat Reifsnider (Chris Alderson) of New Glarus, Augie and Barb Moen of New Glarus, Norma Jean Henderson of Chicago, IL, R. John Henderson of Lake Mills, Dave and Kelly Weiland, Jasey and Leanne Caswell, all of Wautoma, Jeff and Jackie Kucharski of Cedarburg, Ryan and Jill Tetting of Appleton; nieces, many cousins, friends and his racing family.

Chris E. Davis officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Austin’s step-brothers and uncles will be his pallbearers.

If desired, memorials may be made in Austin’s name to the family and a memorial fund will be established in the future.

Austin has run his final race – his race of life. Though it was short lived, many trophies were acquired. May he now add to them, the trophy of eternal life.
