Obituary: Faroline C. Grebel

Faroline C. Grebel, age 77 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Faroline was born on July 3, 1937 in Beaver Dam, WI to Erwin and Elsie (Hein) Draeger. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School with the Class of 1955. On June 2, 1956 she was united in marriage to Dale Grebel at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She worked as an administrative assistant to the CESA6 administrators. She was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church and enjoyed being a part of the Ladies Aid. She was a member of the Burnett Fireman’s Auxiliary, as well as a local ATV and snowmobile club. She enjoyed bowling, planning class reunions, doing genealogy, taking pictures and traveling, especially to Texas where they wintered for 17 years.

Faroline is survived by her husband, Dale of Beaver Dam; her sons, Randy (Virginia) of Beaver Dam, Jim (Helen) of Mayville and John (LaDana) of Beaver Dam; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and other relatives.

A Funeral Service for Faroline will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., with Rev. Terry Larson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the Service at Cornerstone, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton, followed by a luncheon to be served back at Cornerstone.
