Obituary: Pearl L. Alvin

Pearl L. Alvin, 92, a resident of the Golden Living Center in Randolph passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2015.

Funeral services for Pearl will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Noon at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam with the Rev. David Byers-Dent officiating.   A visitation will also be held on Monday, Jan. 19th from 11:00 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

Pearl Lucille was born on June 27, 1922, the daughter of Edward and Blanche M. (Loomis) Sauer in Fountain Prairie, Wisconsin. She was married to Robert J. Sadowski who preceded her in death in 1954.  She was later married to Ervin E. Alvin on August 23, 1982; he also preceded her in death in 2002.

Pearl had owned and operated several restaurants, worked at Oscar Meyer, and later she was employed at Watertown Metals, where she retired from.  She was a member of the Fall River United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed cooking and doing crafts.

Pearl is survived by her son Richard (Julie) Sadowski of Oconomowoc and her Ruth (Curt) Ingersoll of Randolph; five grandchildren: Brenda, Mike, Dawn, Tammy and Caitlyn; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert and Ervin; two sons, William Raatz and Eugene Sadowski; four brothers, Mike, Lawrence, Roy and Warren; two sisters, Dorothy and Eva Mae.

Memorial donations may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope of Fond du Lac.
