Here’s the Beav celebrating THE MIRACLE ON ICE, when a group of collegiate amatuers swept away the Olympic Gold from the Soviet hockey professsionals.
Sports Anchor Jim McKay compared the astounding victory to “a group of Canadian college football players defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers” (at the height of their football dynasty). And Sports Illustrated called it the Top Sports Moment of the 20th Century.
