Paul David Shute was born on December 28, 1965 in Beaver Dam to Harold and Nathalie (Drown) Shute. On August 1, 1986, he was united in marriage to Patty Nickel at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Paul was talented at working with wood and making knives. He also enjoyed gardening and would nurture his peppers until they were just right, to make the perfect salsa. Paul liked to cook and would often be the one behind the grill at a family get together. He had a love for music, especially if it was 70’s classic rock coming from a vinyl. Paul was employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center where he worked in the maintenance department but his most important job was being a Papa. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved grandson, Aadyn.

Survivors are his family, all of Beaver Dam; wife, Patty Shute; children, Amber Shute and Justin Shute; grandson, Aadyn Janz; mother, Nathalie Shute; brother and sisters, Larry (Sue) Shute, Sandy (Fred) Warmke, and Jeri Schwartz (Dick Howland); mother-in-law, Laurel Tadych; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Janet Shute, Leslie and Roger Walter, John Nickel, Rita and Tom Schwartz; several aunts and uncles; a multitude of very special nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Harold; brothers, Jeff, Todd, and Dale; and father-in-law, John Tadych.
