The students and staff at Beaver Dam High School are excited about the new addition to their technology education program. This past week, 6 MIG Pulsed Miller welders were donated by John Deere for the BDHS manufacturing program.

After installing the machines, Craig Hoffman from John Deere shared information about pulse welding, which is used exclusively at John Deere with the Manufacturing II class at BDHS. “I am really excited to have the students use these welders. They are the same ones used in our community’s industry everyday,” says technology education teacher Joe Kutzler. “Our partnership with John Deere and other community industry is getting stronger by the day. Partnerships with industry like John Deere are a win-win for both schools and industry,” says Kutzler.
