Obituary: Lloyd Dickmann

Lloyd Dickmann, age 85 of Markesan, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Markesan Resident Home.

Lloyd was born on April 22, 1929 in Campbellsport, WI, the son of Emil and Marie (Schultz) Dickmann. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as an accountant for Humble Oil prior to spending most of his adult life farming. He was united in marriage to Leonore Wade. Lloyd was very soft-spoken, kindhearted and well-liked. He was an avid reader, book collector and conservationist.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Leonore of Markesan, two brothers, Harold and Ralph Dickmann, both of Campbellsport, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ovila and other relatives.

A funeral service for Lloyd will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 181 S. Main St., Markesan with Rev. Gary Zacharias officiating. Burial will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery, town of Green Lake. Visitation will be held prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
