The Active Adult Resource Council of Dodge County invites the public to attend the upcoming 2015 Senior Expo at its new location. Wayland Academy’s Field House will be the site of the Senior Expo on Wednesday, May 13th.  Admission to the event is free. The Senior Expo will open its doors at 9 am and conclude at 2 pm with dozens of vendor booths, entertainment throughout the day, Bingo, door prizes and a WBEV/WXRO Brat Fry. Major sponsors of the event are Beaver Dam Community Hospital and Rainbow Hospice Care.

The schedule for the event begins with vendor booths open at 9 am. Schroud Auction and Appraisal Service will be on site most of the day until 1 pm with complimentary antique auction appraisals. The public is invited to bring smaller antique items to the Field House.  Wayland Academy will provide musical entertainment at 9 am followed by “Just Us,” duet at 9:30 am. A presentation from the Dodge County Master Gardeners about Container Gardening is set for 10 am, with the Beaver Dam High School SWAZZ Choir performance at 11 am.  The WBEV/WXRO Brat fry will be open from 11 am to 2 pm with a brat and a soda for $1.25.  Bingo kicks off at 12 noon followed by a special Idea Exchange live program at 1:15 pm with Brenda Murphy of WBEV. Vendor booths close at 2 pm at the conclusion of the event.

A free shuttle bus from Lamers Tour and Travel will be available from the Park Village Shopping Center, just a few blocks east of Wayland Academy. Limited parking will be available around the Field House (most reserved for handicap parking), on north and south University Avenue and on side streets near the Field House.  Volunteers will be on site to direct traffic. Attendees are urged to make use of the free shuttle bus.
