Nathalie H. Shute left her three surviving children on Sunday morning, May 17th, to be with the love of her life, Harold and her sons that are now angels, at the age of 89.  It was God’s wish to have her with Him in Heaven and to reunite her with Harold, Jeff, Todd, Dale and Paul.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam with the Rev. Paul Stratman officiating.  Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, May 20th from Noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Nathalie Helen was born August 17, 1925, the eldest daughter of Elmore and Dorothy (Pettack) Drown. She was married to Harold E. Shute on July 14, 1965 at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1943.  She was a CNA at the Lutheran Hospital and Beaver Dam Community Hospital for 25 years, generally in the OB Department.  She was a lifetime member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.  She was also a member of the altar guild. She had belonged to the Homemakers club for many years. Her skills at baking will be sorely missed.  Mom said many times, all she ever wanted was to be a good wife, with a loving family.

Nathalie is survived by her children: Larry (Sue) Shute, Sandra (Fred) Warmke and Jeri Lyn Schwartz (Dick Howland); her daughters-in-law: Janet Shute and Patricia Shute all of Beaver Dam; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; her sisters: Carol Linke and Myram Hein and their families all of Beaver Dam; her brothers-in-law: Harry Shute of Beaver Dam and William (Lou) Shute of Orlando, FL.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; her sons: Jeffrey, Todd, Dale, and Paul, her grandson, John R. Krause; her great granddaughter, Kimberlee Harper; and her sister Audrey Hechimovich.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam or to the American Heart Association.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Zhang and all the staff at Hillside Manor for their care and concern for our Mother.
