Obituary: Dolores R. Eisele

Dolores R. Eisele, age 89, formerly of Madison, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Dolores will be at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 511 South Spring Street in Beaver Dam, on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.  A Mass of Christian burial will follow at church on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Fr. Erick Cassanio officiating.  Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Madison.

Dolores was born on January 21, 1926.  She was united in marriage with Frank J. Eisele on July 15, 1944.  After raising her children, Dolores worked in the Text Book Department at Madison East High School for 20 years; after retiring, she and Frank moved to Beaver Dam.  Dolores was a great cook and was noted for her “Date Nut Torte” that she made for the Christmas holidays.  She was an avid reader and loved politics.  She also enjoyed sewing and was known for her colorful and unique aprons which she gave away to family members and friends. Dolores loved her pets and treated her poodle “Sugar and her cat “Oliver” like family members.   She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Parish in Beaver Dam.

Survivors include her seven daughters, Phoebe (Ray) Weiss, Janet (Nick) Rick, Pamela (John) Stevens, Betty, Kim, Kathy, and Jane; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Donna Jean Eisele Hayes of Oshkosh; other relatives and friends.  Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Della Rolston; and a grandson, Adam. 

If desired, memorials may be made in Dolores Eisele’s name to SKDS Tuition Assistance Fund.
