Obituary: Robert D. Muldoon

Robert D. Muldoon, 73, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2015 at his home.

Robert was born on February 15, 1942 to Dixon and Helen (Stapleton) Muldoon.

Robert was united in marriage to Roberta M. Puyear on December 29, 1962 in Princeton, IL. 

Bob was an over the road truck driver for 35 years.  He enjoyed going hunting and fishing.  He also loved to go dancing.  The most important thing to Bob was his family and he enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.

Bob is survived by his son Shawn (Trina) Anderson of Beaver Dam and his daughter Devonna (Bruce) Bradshaw of Harrison, AR; his mother-in-law Lucy Puyear of Wyanet, IL; his sister Terri (Roy) Hodge of Irving, TX; also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death his parents, his wife Roberta, eleven brothers and sisters.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the V. F. W. Hall in Wyanet, IL from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015.  Bob’s cremated remains will be buried at the Wyanet Cemetery.
