Obituary: Steven R. Heintz

Steven R. Heintz, age 67, formerly of Horicon, died on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Horicon American Legion on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Military Honors will be presented by the Horicon American Legion Post #157 at 2:00 p.m.

Steven Raymond Heintz was born on April 23, 1948 to Raymond and Gladys (Franke) Heintz in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He was a 1966 graduate of Horicon High School and joined the United States Army for two years following school. After his honorable discharge, Steve worked for Mayville Metal until his retirement in the 2008.

Steven is survived by his brothers and sisters, Leonard (Robin) of Mayville, Jeffery (Rita) of Lomira, Lee (Patrice Hartl) of Beaver Dam, Brian (Stacey) of Burnett, Gregory (Mickie Johnson) of Beaver Dam, Bradley (Jennifer) of Valparaiso, IN, Judy Rose of Fond du Lac, Laurie (Lowboy) Mylrea of Fox Lake, and Sara Schultz of Hartford; sister-in-law, Marlene Heintz of Mayville; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Randy; and sister, Marce Carlton.
