Beaver Dam Area Community Theater (BDACT) is proud to announce our fall production will be the romantic comedy, “The Fox on the Fairway”! The play is a charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man’s eternal love affair with … golf! This hilarious romp is filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans. Recalling the madcap Marx Brothers’ classics, it pulls the rug right out from underneath the stuffy members of a private country club, and will be masterfully directed by the infamous Tina Swain.

Scripts for the play are available at the Beaver Dam Community Library to be read at the library ONLY and not checked out. The cast will include 3 men and 3 women, who can appear to be ages 20’s to 50’s. Please direct all questions about auditions to Director Tina Swain at 319-0174.

Characters:
Justin – 20’s-30’s – off-beat, sweet, anxious, bundle of nerves
Louise – 20’s-30’s – leggy knockout, bit ditzy but good natured
Henry – 40’s-50’s – hard-working country club Executive Director
Muriel – 40’s-50’s- Henry’s wife, study, plain and no-nonsense
Dickie – 40’s-50’s – Executive Director of rival club, obnoxious, self-centered
Pamela – 40’s-50’s – beautiful, elegant, well put together

Performances will be on October 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24 & 25.
