Obituary: James “Jim” F. Dietenberger

James “Jim” F. Dietenberger, age 74 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.

Jim was born on November 10, 1940 in Hartford, WI, the son of Joseph and Lorraine (Howley) Dietenberger. He graduated from Randolph High School. On May 28, 1966, he was united in marriage to Janet Bilke. After working at Purity Cheese for several years, Jim owned and operated The Sub Shop in Beaver Dam. He enjoyed cooking, as well as dining out with family.

Jim is survived by his wife Janet of Beaver Dam; his son Jeff of Beaver Dam; his daughter, Julie (Mark) Beske and his grandchildren, Marisa and Holly Beske, of Hartford; his sister, Jean (Vern) Franke of Juneau; his sister-in-law, Bev Dietenberger of Horicon and further survived by nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jerome Dietenberger and other relatives.

In honoring Jim’s wishes, a private family service will be held at Cornerstone.
