Obituary: Lloyd A. Winter

Lloyd A. Winter, 95, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2015 at Hillside Manor.

A memorial service for Lloyd will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, W7922 Ollinger Road, Beaver Dam with Greg Sperger as speaker.  Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

Lloyd Albert was born the son of Albert and Lena (Kenning) Winter on May 31, 1920 in the town of Calamus, Dodge County.

Lloyd was a lifetime farmer.  He was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses of Beaver Dam.  His passion was deer and turkey hunting.

Lloyd is survived by his son Daryl Winter of Fall River and his daughter Cheryl Henderson of Rio; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and his sister Gladys Allen of Beaver Dam.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Robert Winter and Edgar Winter.
