Migrate to Mayville, October 2-4 for Audubon Days 2015. The festivities race off on Friday, October 2 at 5 p.m. with the annual MPTC Bed Races in downtown Mayville. Following that event, adults can enjoy the Beer & Wine Tasting at the Mayville Golf Club from 7 to 10 p.m. while the kids enjoy the music by DJ Express at the Pavilion for the Youth Dance from 7 to 9 p.m.

Saturday morning participants dash off at Lion’s Point Park for the 5K Run/Walk. Registration begins at 8 a.m. (advanced and same day registration available) The 5K course has beautiful views of area scenery.  If you’d rather ride, then tour the Horicon Marsh on five different bicycle routes with the Audubon Days Metric Century Bike Tour. Afterwards you can join everyone at the park for a fun-filled day. 

 Activities include shopping at the Arts & Craft Gallery, a Bean Bag Toss Contest, plus plenty of great food and beverages by area clubs and organizations. There is music by Star Six Nine all afternoon. 

New this year is the Audubon Days Home-Brew Competition. Also, kids can enjoy the MEC Kids’ Zone with magic and comedy shows, games, inflatables, a petting zoo and much more.  There is also more fun for your family at the Duck-O-Ration Station, the new 9-Hole Mini Golf Course, Archery Alley, mini duck races and the Crafts & Pumpkin Decorating station.

Saturday evening adults can participate in the Audubon Days Pub Crawl downtown or dance to the Polka Music of the Julida Boys at the Park Pavilion. 

Sunday morning kicks off with the Parade at 11 a.m. downtown.  After the parade you can shop at the Marketplace at the Park Pavilion from noon to 4 p.m.  The Presidents will entertain you all afternoon with their music at the lower bandstand.  Plus you can enjoy  all the great food, beverages, and kids activities again, including UB the Band at the MEC’s Kid’s Tent.  Audubon Days will end in a splash with the traditional Great “Rock River” Rubber Duck Race down the Rock River at 4 p.m.  Purchase your duck to win great prizes!
