Daniel P. Cody, age 60, died unexpectedly at his home in Westford Township on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
There will be a memorial gathering at Praise Assembly of God Church in Beaver Dam on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 noon. A memorial service will follow at church on Friday beginning at 12:00 noon. Rev. Randal R. Carey will officiate.
Daniel was born on April 8, 1955 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Patrick and Elaine (Peterson) Cody. He was raised in Minnesota and moved to the Beaver Dam area in the late 1980’s. Dan worked as an insurance agent for 26 years and currently owned and operated Cody Insurance Agency in Beaver Dam. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and enjoyed boating and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Cody of Beaver Dam; three sons, Ivan Cody of Colorado, and Raymond Cody and Luke Cody of Beaver Dam; a step son, Dustin Weller of Crystal, MN; his mother, Elaine Burk of Arpin; two sisters and two brothers, Ron (Judy) Cody of Arpin, Sherry (Dan) Scott of Montevideo, MN, Dave (Wilma) Cody of Hopkins, MN, and Joy (Scott) Hausam of Zimmerman, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his father.
