Gerda A. (nee Clark) Braunschweig, 57 years old, returned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 after a short battle with cancer.

Gerda was born on October 11, 1958 in Beaver Dam, WI to John and Gerda (Fanta) Clark. She attended Beaver Dam High School. Gerda was united in marriage to Dale Braunschweig on November 13, 1982. She owned a health alternative business where she had an amazing gift reaching out in love and knowledge, helping a vast amount of people.

Gerda attended Grace Hill Fellowship and was a strong woman of faith. She had a beautiful heart and such a compassion for helping others. Gerda touched so many lives and had a positive effect on everyone that knew her. She was known for her ease in frequent conversation, even with total strangers. Gerda possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around will never be forgotten.

She loved reading and expanding her knowledge in the health field. She enjoyed traveling, history and rummaging. She had a very special spot in her heart for Green Lake, where she would spend her summers as a child, and Camp Fairwood, where she came to the Lord as a teenager. Her family was a very important part of her life and her granddaughter was the sunshine in her life.

She will be forever loved and forever missed by so many.

She is survived by: her husband Dale Braunschweig; her children Christy (Michael) Purser and Cody Braunschweig; her granddaughter Sutton Purser , all of Burnett; her mother Gerda Clark; her sister Janet (Tony) Pautzke; her brothers John (Kathy) Clark and Erich Clark; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
