On Saturday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m., Let Me Be Frank Productions presents it’s 16thSeason of Original Scripts for Musical Theater. This year the season opener is Rahr’s Beer and Prison City USA. The event will be held in the Waupun Historic City Hall Auditorium. Tickets are available on ticketstaronline.com for $20/$25.

Back to Frank’s good friend Joe Kiedinger; Frank called him one day and asked him to start a dinnertheater troupe with him, (Frank’s Dinner Theater). Joe did not hesitate. They called all their oldfriends from St. Norbert, UW-GB and all their other acting friends. Most of them joined and are still with Let Me Be Frank Productions today. Pat Hibbard and Frank write the shows now and no longerare they just doing review shows. Now they are actually writing stories with music as the focus. Thefuture is very bright for Let Me Be Frank Productions. Their move to the Historic Meyer Theatre inGreen Bay only solidifies their place in the theater history of North Eastern WI.
Frank’s Dinner Theater’s first show was the “Temp” in February 2000 at the Sports Corner in DePere, WIin an upstairs banquet room. They had two wonderful years there until they moved to their new digsat the SC Grand on HWY 41. The SC Grand was their home until 2007 when they were handed thegolden key from PMI and became the main tenants of the Meyer Theatre. They are now in their 8thglorious year at the historic Meyer Theatre. Since their inception, Let Me Be Frank has coined 87original scripts for musical theater. Taking their shows on the road was the next step for Let Me BeFrank Productions which brings them to Waupun’s Historic City Hall Auditorium. They hope to continue to entertain you for many years to come!.
About Rahr’s Beer and Prison City USA Frank, the main character in the musical comedy, works forRahr's Beer — one of many local brewers that used to dot the landscape in Wisconsin — and needsto convince the citizens of Waupun to pass a referendum that would allow Rahr's Beer to be servedon Chicago Northwestern trains before the Milwaukee brewers dominate the beer landscape.
Audience members get in on the act as those Waupun citizens deciding by ultimately to vote 'yay' or'nay' on the referendum. In all there are 13 musical numbers featuring popular songs from the era. For information call 920-268-8005.
