Obituary: Audrey K. Hein

Audrey K. Hein, age 92 of Beaver Dam and formerly of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Charleston House Memory Care in Beaver Dam.

Audrey was born on February 10, 1923 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Henry and Ethel (Scheinert) Weis. She attended Fall River High School and graduated on May 30, 1942. On February 9, 1942 she was united in marriage to Henry Hein. Audrey worked for the Wisconsin Cheeseman, Rockwell and Weyenberg Shoe Factory. She loved taking care of her flowers, fishing, traveling, telling jokes and most of all, playing cards.

Audrey is survived by her children, Fred Hein, Paulette (James) Neibauer, Robert (Diana) Hein, all of Beaver Dam and Barbara (James) Warmbier of Rosendale; grandchildren, John (Deb) Waterworth of Fond du Lac, Tina Waterworth of Green Bay, George Stegner of Beaver Dam, Dawn (Paul Bruley) Rabiego of Las Vegas, NV, Jeff (Tiffany) Hein of Rockford, MI and Scott (Stacy) Hein of Plymouth; great-grandchildren, Tabitha (Andre Basturto) Fouch of Las Vegas, NV, Wyatt Rabiego of Oshkosh, Andrew (Angie McKay) Stegner of Beaver Dam, John (Steph) Stegner of Oshkosh, Jackson and Lola Hein of Rockford, MI, Austin Peterson of Green Bay; great-great-grandchildren, Olivia, Elliott and Leroy Stegner of Oshkosh; brother-in-law, Ernest Hein of Neenah; sister-in-law, Agnes MacDonald of Randolph; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1998, and many sister and brother-in-laws.

Visitation for Audrey will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Serivces, 135 Keller Blvd., from 12:00 (noon) until the time of the funeral service at Cornerstone at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Jim Mallmann officiating. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton with a luncheon to follow back at Cornerstone.

The family would like to thank the staff of Landmark Charleston House and Generations Home and Hospice for taking such good care of Audrey, with a special thank you extended to Denise from Generations for her wonderful care.
