Obituary: Eleanore C. Sukowski

Eleanore C. Sukowski, 90 years old, of Burnett and formerly of Beaver Dam, Oconomowoc and Milwaukee, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam with Father Michael Erwin officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Eleanore was born on October 27, 1925 to Theodore & Anna (Makowski) Mueller in Milwaukee. She was united in marriage to Robert H. Sukowski on August 3, 1946 in Milwaukee.

Eleanore was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam. She enjoyed going to rummage sales and taking casino trips. Eleanore was a collector of many treasures.

Eleanore is survived by her children: Nancy (Richard) Adamczewski of St. Francis, Barbara (Joseph) Schmid of Burnett, Judy (William) Dean of Horicon, and Ronald (Victoria) Sukowski; her grandchildren: Robert (Kelly) Schmid of Mayville, Vicki (Franklin) Lessard of Beaver Dam, Cory (Betty) Schmid of Slinger, Denise (Joseph) Kruser of Janesville, Julie Adamczewski of Wauwatosa, April (Jay) Wolfe of Hartford, Darrel Dean of Arena, WI, Andrea (Brian) Bluel of Madison, and Paul Sukowski of Nashville; her great grandchildren: Jack Kruser, Max Kruser, Luke G. Kruser, Bryce Schmid, Lilly Schmid, Luke J. Lessard, Eleanore Schmid, Claire Wolfe, and Claudia Wolfe; her step great grandchildren: Aryana Lessard, Reece Heinemeier, and Landry Heinemeier; her brother Richard (Freida) Mueller of Glendale; her nieces: Maria and Annette and her nephew Randy; her special friend Melissa “Artmann” Schmid; other relatives and friends.

Eleanore is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, and her brother Theodore Mueller.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
