Mary Elizabeth Nee, age 90 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
Mary was born on August 22, 1925 in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late James F. and Dora (Weidergreen) Mosher. She attended school in Newark, NJ and accomplished her GED in 1971 in Elizabeth, NJ. She owned and operated Mary’s in Rahway, NJ for over 15 years, retiring in 2000. Prior to residing in Wisconsin for the past three years, she lived in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Mary is survived by her sister, Margaret Mosher Hanley of Colonia, NJ; her children, Alice Stofan of Ewing, NJ, Dorothea Nee of Beaver Dam, WI, Lawrence (Patricia) Nee Jr. of Weatherly, PA and son-in-law, Ralph Martinez of Mt Top, PA; grandchildren, Donielle (Damian) Killian-Gioia of Levittown, PA, Kelly (Scott) Killian-Pecaric of Bordentown, NJ, Benjamin Nee of Reading, PA, Pamela Moyes of Beaver Dam, WI, Charles Moyes of Beaver Dam, WI, Patrick Moyes of Beaver Dam, WI, Brooke (Christopher) Nee-Hudak of Covington, GA, Olivia Nee of Weatherly, PA, Colleen Martinez of Mt Top, PA; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Cliff Moyes and Pat Schmid and her wonderful caregivers, Janice Stanton and all of the staff of Heartland Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Strojny and Ellen Lange and daugther, Margaret Nee Martinez.
A memorial gathering for Mary will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Becky Merwin will officiate. A luncheon will follow at Cornerstone.
