Obituary: Gordon A. Schultz

Gordon A. Schultz, age of 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at twelve o’clock (noon) p.m. at Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Collin Vanderhoof officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. at Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton.

Gordon was born on August 13, 1934 in Fox Lake, to Herbert F. and Martha (Paul) Schultz. He served in the Army 513th Missile Battalion. On September 3, 1955 he was united in marriage to Lucille S. Perry at First Presbyterian Church in Fox Lake.

Gordon worked for 48 years in the auto repair business. He was a faithful member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. He served on the church council for several years, and also helped with the pre-school, and volunteered helping for years. Gordon was also a member of Senior OWLS Organization.

Gordon is survived by his wife Lucille; children, Jerry G. (Sherri) Schultz, Dawn L. (Kenneth) Grebel, and David G. (Marsha) Schultz; sister and brother, Kenneth (Laura) Schultz, and Ethel (David) Lenz; sisters-in-law, Gustie Schultz and Joyce Schultz; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Russell Schultz, Hazel Vick, and Sheldon Schultz; and his brother-in-law, Irvin Vick.

Memorials may be directed to Good Shepard Lutheran Church of Beaver Dam.
