Michelle “Shelly” Marie Weier Aguilera, age 36 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, February 22, 2016.

Shelly was born on September 6, 1979 in Sauk City, WI.  She attended grade school in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and graduated from DeForest Area High School in 1998. She enjoyed working as a personal caregiver. Shelly had friends from all walks in life and shared her big heart with all of them.  She enjoyed going to movies, concerts, reading, making jewelry, beating her Dad at Trivial Pursuit, pulling pranks, and going treasure hunting.  Her Grandma Otto was her best friend and she was devoted to taking care of her. Family was everything to Shelly, and all of her friends and their children became her extended family.  She was fiercely loyal to them, and she was deeply loved in return. She enjoyed a very special and loving friendship with Miss McKenzie, and a special bond and her time with “her” baby angel nephew.

Welcoming her home in heaven was her grandfather Stanley Otto; her uncles Karl and Stanley Otto Jr.; grandparents Bernard and Betty Weier and Lowell and Gerry Fisk; her aunt Cindy Brown; and her beloved pet rabbit, Jerry Garcia.

Left missing her are her mother and stepfather, Nancy (Jim) Knuteson; father and stepmother, Gene (Deb) Weier; brother Tyler Knuteson and his girlfriend Shannon; her nephew “Prince Patty” Christian; niece “Princess Peach” Brielle; grandmother Gladys Otto, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a loyal legion of friends, including lifelong friends, Liz Swan, Trisha Linde, and a newly found friendship with Mike Levandoski and his son Stephen.

A memorial gathering for Shelly will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam.
