Obituary: Steven Gordon Lapp

Steven Gordon Lapp, age 52, of Reeseville, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison surrounded by his family.

Steve was born on December 31, 1963 in Madison to Herb and Judy (Gee) Lapp. He was a graduate of Lake Mills High School.

Steve was a semi-truck driver for many years. Upon his dad’s retirement in 2002, Steve took over his dad’s honey bee business. He was known by his many friends as “The Bee Man”.

He loved his family, Green Bay Packers, playing cards, deer hunting, and grilling out.

Steve leaves behind his wife, Julee, daughter, Hailey, and son Holden, all of Reeseville; parents, Herb and Judy Lapp of Briggsville; brother, Dean (Cathy) of Briggsville; step children, Sarah (Jeff) Errthum, Ben (Lindsay) Franke, and Angela Franke; other relatives and friends.

There will be a memorial gathering at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A private memorial service with be held at a later date.
