Obituary: Mary Anne Clazmer

Mary Anne Clazmer, age 79, of Beaver Dam, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Hillside Manor. 

The visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 noon with Rev. Daniel Lewig officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

The former Mary Anne Lentz was born on April 10, 1937 in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin to Raymond and Gertrude (Joerres) Lentz. She was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School in Racine. On July 7, 1956, she was united in marriage with Robert W. Clazmer at St. Louis Church in Caledonia. Together, they raised and loved four “individual” children. New love followed with each grandchild that was born. Mary Anne enjoyed music and sang at area events in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. She and her band recorded an album in the 1950’s. She worked with and enjoyed children for 22 years in the public school district. Mary Anne liked gardening, crafts, Chicago “Cubbies”, UW Marching Band, playing cards, and bingo. Most of all though, Mary Anne enjoyed family get-togethers and being involved with activities of her children and grandchildren. These moments, she considered to be priceless.

Mary Anne leaves behind her children; David (Silvina), Michele (David) Wolff, and Gloria (Lee) Smith; grandchildren, Aimee, Matthew, Amanda (Daniel), Nicholas (Kailey), Nicole, and Tyler; great grandchildren, Damien, Olivia, and a third to be born in November; brothers, Raymond (Millie), James (Judith) and Gerald Lentz; sister, Marlene (James) Nierenberger; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol Lentz, Doris Clazmer, Martha Clazmer, Thomas and Delores Clazmer, and Patricia and Perry Paragamian; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She joins in eternal life her parents and grandparents; husband, Bob; son, Steven; brother, Robert Lentz; brothers-in-law, Eugene, Richard, and Clarence Clazmer; sister-in-law, Jean Clazmer; and other special relatives and friends.
