Obituary: Anita A. Ludlow

Anita A. Ludlow, 98, of Beaver Dam went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.

A private family funeral was held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with the Rev. Seth Dorn officiating.  Interment took place at Stone Cemetery in Burnett.

Anita was born the daughter of Edwin and Mella (Hoff) Pribnow on December 2, 1917 in Burnett.  She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Burnett.

Anita was married to Arthur Pieper on September 10, 1938, they enjoyed 19 wonderful years together until his death in 1958.  She then married Willard Ludlow.

During her lifetime she held many jobs and worked at Beaver Specialties for 22 years until her retirement in 1979.

Anita’s faith came first in her life, as she shared it with family and friends in many kind ways and words.  She was a member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam since 1941.

Anita is survived by her son Marvin Pieper, grandson Kenneth (Charlene) Pieper of Beaver Dam and great granddaughter Ashley Pieper of Beaver Dam, her brother Harvey Pribnow of Juneau and her sister-in-law Joan Pribnow of Burnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her brother Lester Pribnow and her sister-in-law LaVerna Pribnow.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church Restoration Fund.
