Obituary: Marilyn “Dee Dee” Priebusch

Marilyn “Dee Dee” Priebusch, age 62, died Friday, November 11, 2016 in Madison, Wisconsin.

Visitation for Dee Dee will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM.  Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dale Hella officiating.  Burial will be at Lowell Cemetery.

Marilyn was born on April 1, 1954 in Dodge County, Wisconsin to the late Lavern and Adeline (Wille) Priebusch.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Degree in Nursing.  Dee Dee worked as a registered nurse at Beaver Dam Hospital and at UW Hospital in Madison.  She loved dogs, especially her faithful companion, Driver, and she enjoyed volunteering at the Dodge County Humane Society.  Dee Dee attended church throughout her life and was a member at Salem Lutheran Church in Lowell, St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, and was currently a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Oak Grove. 

Survivors include her siblings, Lavern Priebusch of Lowell, Blaine (Carol) Priebusch of Reeseville, Virginia (Mike) Fleck of DePere, and Madelyn Priebusch of Beaver Dam; three nieces, Heather Fleck of DePere, Shannon (John) Zur of Waukesha, and Courtney (Nick) Kurtz of Neenah; other relatives and friends.  Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.

If desired, memorials may be made in Marilyn J. Priebusch’s name to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Oak Grove or the Dodge County Humane Society in Juneau.
