Thomas Michael Wolff

Thomas Michael Wolff, 62, of Randolph, left this world peacefully Saturday, November 19, surrounded by nature at his deer stand on opening day of his 50th year of deer camp.

A visitation will be held at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a time of remembrance at 3:00 p.m.  A celebration of Thomas’ life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Thomas was born in Richland Center March 22, 1954, to Kenneth Francis and Mary Jo (Kooiman) Wolff. He grew up with five siblings on their farm in Bear Valley, where he roamed the hills and caves on the back of his pony, Misty. He later graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1972.

Thomas took great satisfaction and pride in his life’s career in the communications industry, beginning in the 1970s.  His work allowed him to travel the United States for 15 years. He later spent 25 years with CenturyLink.

Thomas had an absolute passion for the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He was an amazing husband, father, brother and friend, and he believed in enjoying each and every sunset.

On September 29, 1990, Tom married Vickie (Weingarten) Russell.

In addition to Vickie, his bride of 26 years, Thomas is survived by his beloved daughter Marianne (son-in-law and great friend Tom) Hyke, Beaver Dam; siblings Mari Wolf, Newcastle, California,  John (Kathy) Wolff, Madison, and Tim (Mary) Wolff, North Freedom; and sisters-in-law Jeanne Billingsley, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and Peggy Messerli, Necedah. Thomas is also survived by his father-in-law LeRoy Weingarten, Beaver Dam; a niece with whom he shared a special bond, Tina (Duane) Novy, Montello; Erin Henderson; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grandnephews; and other relatives and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Frank and Robert Wolff; and mother-in-law Darlene Weingarten.

The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is caring for the family. To leave online condolences, or for directions and other information, please visit our website at www.KoepsellFH.com
