The Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) recently held its 2016 Pyramid of Pride Awards Dinner at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center.  Among the award recipients were Dr. Jim Amstadt and Church Health Services (CHS).

Mark Pagett, Executive Director of the WDA presented a Community Outreach Award to Jim Amstadt,DDS who was honored for his volunteer work with Church Health Services. Until CHS opened a dental clinic in 2014, Medical Assistance (MA) patients in the area (estimated 14,500 MA patients in Dodge County) had little to no access to dental care.

Working with the CHS dental clinic since its beginning, Dr. Amstadt has offered his dental knowledge and expertise  to the community.  He serves CHS as Dental Clinic Director, giving many hours ensuring facility excellence, securing donated equipment, dental supplies, and helping to recruit volunteer dentists and hygienists.  He also serves as a member of the CHS Board of Directors.

He spends many hours working in the dental clinic, providing dental care for those individuals who have no other option for dental care.
