Obituary: Karen L. Mola

Karen L. Mola, age 72, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at UW Hospital in Madison.

Visitation for Karen will be at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.  Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with John R. Leiting as the celebrant.  Burial will be at Leola Cemetery near Hancock, Wisconsin.

Karen was born on November 10, 1944 in Pennsylvania to the late Chester and Ada (Reeves) Nagel.  After graduating from Highland High School in Highland, Indiana, she was united in marriage with Charlie Mola on June 9, 1962 in East Chicago, Indiana.  After moving to Wisconsin, Karen worked at Shopko as a bookkeeper for many years.  She also worked at ConAgra Cheese in Mayville for ten years and was manager of the American Mobile Home Community for the past 17 years.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Mola of Beaver Dam; two daughters, Shelley Simich of Beaver Dam and Debra (Phillip) Buss of Horicon; five grandchildren, Jacob and Aaron Simich, Chelsea Plummer, Corey Mola, and Charles Anthony Mola; a great grandson, CaydnThompson; other relatives and friends.  Karen was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Charles Anthony Mola and Thomas Mola; and her sister, Eileen Mathias.
