Nancy A. Funck, age 82, died on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Clearview Nursing and Rehab Center.
The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The memorial service will follow at the funeral home on Monday at 12:00 noon with Rev. Paul Schupmann officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin.
Nancy A. Oldenburg was born on November 27, 1934 in Antigo, WI as one of 13 children to Albert and Marie Oldenburg. She was baptized on April 7, 1949 at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. On September 26, 1953 she was united with John Funck in holy matrimony. They had three children. She enjoyed her grandchildren, went to their sporting events and was always there when needed.
Nancy loved to crochet and made blankets for all the kids. Nancy was active at Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and served on the altar guild.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John (2006) and her siblings Marian, Walter, Myrna, Genevieve, Alberta, Albert, John, Rosalind and an infant sister. She is survived by her children Terry (Marcella) Funck, Victoria (Andrew) McLean and Timothy (Carol) Funck, her grandchildren Kyle, Kevin, Katrina, Christy, Hope, Angel, Mindy, Iva, Ginger, Dustin, Sarah, Shelby, 23 great grandchildren and by her siblings Marie, Dale and Jane.
