Obituary: Nancy McDonald

Nancy McDonald, age 73, passed away on April 17, 2017 at UW-Hospital in Madison.

Nancy was born on March 8, 1944 in Beaver Dam to Harold and Gertrude (Gertsch) Margelofsky. She married Byron McDonald on July 29, 1961. She loved to cook, bake, spend time with her grandchildren, play bingo, and attend summer band concerts in the park and pie socials. She was a loving person who always put others before herself and will always be remembered for her kindness and unconditional love. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Byron; her daughter, Debra Gonzalez; her sister, Karen (Bill) Wendt; 12 loving grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Margelofsky Freiman; her father, Harold Margelofsky; and step-father, Alfred Freiman.

Visitation for Nancy will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Larson officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
