Obituary: Ronald R. Janz

Ronald R. Janz, age 66, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

Ronald Raymond Janz was born on December 30, 1950 in West Bend, Wisconsin to Alvin and Norma (Merzdorf) Janz. He was united in marriage with Linda Scheidt on February 13, 1971 in Milwaukee. Ron worked for over 34 years at Simplicity in Port Washington as an engine assembler. When his children were younger, he was a Cub Scout Leader for many years.  He enjoyed deer hunting and was a fisherman. Ron loved spending time in his garden and enjoyed sitting on his porch talking with neighbors and sipping his coffee.

Survivors are his wife, Linda of Beaver Dam; children, Ronald Janz, Jr. of IL, Patricia French of IL, Daniel (Melissa) Janz of Madison, and Andrew Janz of Beaver Dam; brothers and sisters, Diana Janz of TX, Judith Hetzel of Hartford, Sharon Schueller of TX, Donald (Rumiko) Janz of Milwaukee, and Linda (Douglas) Kolbach of Grafton; parents-in-law, George and Phyllis Scheidtof Beaver Dam; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph and Alvin Jr.; and sister, Marlene.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
