Obituary: Vivian F. Hamann

Vivian F. Hamann, age 92 of Reeseville, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Vivian was born on October 26, 1924 in Mayville, the daughter of George and Leona (Haacker) Roggenbauer. She was united in marriage to Melvin Hamann on February 14, 1949 in Dubuque, IA. Vivian ran her own beauty shop and helped out on the family farm. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Reeseville. Baking, gardening, tending to her flowers, traveling, playing radio bingo and going out for Friday fish fries were some of her favorite pastimes. Vivian was an avid Packers, Badgers and Brewers fan, and she treasured spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Vivian is survived by her grandchildren, Thomas (Tori) Hamann of Reeseville and Beth (Scott) Schwanke of Randolph; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Ethan, Aidan, Noah and Faith; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hamann Snow of Reeseville; brother, Marvin (Judy) Roggenbauer of Burnett; sister-in-law, Leola Roggenbauer of Beaver Dam; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Matthew in 1991; son, Mark in 2009; husband, Melvin in 2010; 8 siblings and other relatives.

A memorial gathering for Vivian will be held on Thursday, June 29 at Trinity Lutheran Church, N2296 Cty Rd. I, Reeseville from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating. Inurnment will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Reeseville.
