Eunice Muehlenhaupt, age 91 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2017.
Eunice was born on March 7, 1926 in Montello, the daughter of Clarence and Bertha Zuelsdorf Crown. She was united in marriage to Gilbert Muehlenhaupt on September 3, 1947 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake by Rev. Zunker. She worked at the Lakeside location of Weyenberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam. She was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed attending family holiday gatherings and reunions.Her hobbies included making latch hook rugs, playing cards with Gilbert, mowing lawn and reading.
Eunice is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Gilbert of Beaver Dam; brother, Harley (Liola) Crown of Montello; nine nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Crown; sisters, Ruth Walters and Susan King.
Visitation for Eunice will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 110 Edgelawn Lane, Fox Lake from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Nottling officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at church and burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Beaver Dam.
