Obituary: Agnes M. Anderson

Agnes M. Anderson, age 89, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Wisconsin Dells Health Care Center.

Agnes was born on August 7, 1928 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Adam and Evelyn (O’Dell) Polsin. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Anderson on October 15, 1957. Agnes enjoyed crocheting and knitting blankets, watching the birds and her goldfish, along with cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. She enjoyed going out to eat at Walkers Restaurant and loved a good Wisconsin Friday night fish fry. 

Agnes is survived by her three children, William (Anita) Anderson of Valley Springs, CA, James (Kim) Anderson of Oxford and Barbara Anderson (Paul Mohrmann) of Marshall; five grandchildren, Sandra, Chris, Patrick, Ashley and Jason; five great-grandchildren, Heather, Cory, Jeremy, Dillon and Morgan Rose; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Rose) Polsin of Appleton; sisters, Rita Gerke of Marshfield and Evelyn Powers of Columbus; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Emily Louhow and brother, Herbert Polsin.

Visitation for Agnes will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Beaver Dam.
