Obituary: Marjorie M. Schultz, age 93

Marjorie M. Schultz, age 93, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.  All who knew her will remember her for her signature smile.

Visitation for Marge will be at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Beaver Dam on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Michael J. Erwin officiating.  Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Juneau.

Marjorie was born on June 18, 1924 in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin to the late John & Gertrude (Froehlich) Frank.  She grew up on a farm south of Beaver Dam near Leipsic.  On June 8, 1946, she was united in marriage with Reuben Schultz at the St. Peter’s Church in Beaver Dam.  Marge graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1942 and also graduated from Mayville Normal School.  She taught at several country schools.  She was a life-long member of Immaculate Conception Church in Juneau and was very active in the work of the church as well as the Christian Women’s Society.  Marge was currently a member of St. Katharine Drexel Church in Beaver Dam.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Brooks of Beaver Dam, Charles Schultz of Twin Falls, ID, Susan (Alan) Indermuehle of Verona, Michael (Pamela) Schultz of Beaver Dam, and Randall (Jane) Schultz of Appleton; a son-in-law, Paul Peterson of Fond du Lac; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; her sister, Delores Haldemann of Beaver Dam; her brother, Gerald (Marie) Frank of Beaver Dam; other relatives and friends.  Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Dawn Peterson; a sister, Helen Tietz; three brothers-in-law, Elmer Tietz, Les Wichinski, and Ed Haldemann; a son-in-law, Larry Brooks, and a daughter-in-law, Connie Schultz. 

If desired, memorials may be made to St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam in the name of Marjorie Schultz.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hillside Manor for the wonderful care and the love they showed to Marge.
