"How to be at the Top of Your Game" Informational Series

An informational three-part series, “Be at the Top of Your Game,” is available to the public through collaboration between Church Health Services (CHS) and the Agnesian Community Benefit Program. Mayville Community Oriented Parish Nurse Bob Gionet R.N. invites the public to attend one or all sessions. Session themes address personal and financial security. Each session will last approx. an hour with a question and answer period to follow. Sessions are free and open to all. Come to one, two or three. Session topics, locations and dates follow: Wednesday -Oct. 23rd – 6:30 pm at the Mayville American Legion -134 S. Main St. This first session will feature Attorney Tom Schuessler of Quincey, Becker, Schuessler, Chase and Devitt S.C. The topic is the “Top 10 Estate Planning Mistakes and how to avoid them.” This session will help you and your family to deal with your property before and after death in a cost effective and timely manner. No matter how much your estate is worth, come to learn how to plan wisely for your assets to be handled and distributed as you wish. Wednesday - October 30th – 6:30 pm at the Mayville Senior Center- 330 N. Walnut St. Police Chief Chris MacNeill will share information to help the participant to be more aware of: • Latest Scams – Don’t become a Victim • Drugs in Mayville – Latest Trends • Neighborhood Watch – Building a Stronger Community Wednesday- November 6th – 6:30 pm - Mayville City Hall, 15 S. School Rd. Dan Koepsell of Koepsell Funeral Homes will explain the importance of Funeral Preplanning and the details involved in service planning, obituary writing, burial or cremation services, and potential cost savings. Examining funeral details in advance can offer family members peace of mind, and is an opportunity to plan a meaningful funeral that reflects the unique life of the individual.
