Did you get a new camera for Christmas? Wanting to learn more about it? Or perhaps you have had a camera for awhile but want to learn to use it better! This class is for the beginner photographer with a Digital SLR, or for the moderately experienced photographer that is looking to refresh their basic knowledge of photography and how to operate their camera.

Topics covered will be:

• Understanding How Your Camera Works

• Exposure Basics

• ISO Settings

• Automatic/Program Mode

• Preset Modes (Portraiture, Landscape, Sports, Macro, etc.)

• Aperture Priority

• Shutter Priority

• Full Manual Mode

The class will last approximately 3 hours and will include in class exercises, so please bring your cameras. The class is designed for teaching the principals of photography. A DSLR camera is suggested for this class. If you have a point and shoot camera that can be set to manual mode, you will be able to follow along with some of the principals being taught. $49 per student. Space is limited so register early!
