The Cultivating Wellness Series kicks off Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. with a free public seminar by Dr. Warren Porter regarding research of genetically modified organisms and the effects of low-dose pesticides entitled “GMO – What Do We Know?”

Dr. Melissa Greer, a Holistic Family Medicine Physician with the BDCH Medical Clinic in Waupun, will lead three of the six sessions. Dr. Greer’s topics include An Overview of Holistic Medicine (Feb. 27), Wellness Supporting Approaches to Illness (March 13) and Meditative Practices and Inner Development (March 27).

Erika Jensen, a freelance writer, cook and organic farmer will lead sessions on Introduction to Local Foods (March 6), Organic Vegetable Farming (March 20) and Cooking Through the Seasons with Master Recipes (April 3).
