Jennifer Joan Steinbach, age 64, of Beaver Dam, completed her journey and her cancer battle in the loving arms of her husband, Paul, on Friday, November 22, 2013 at home.

Jennifer was born to the late Dr. Warren and Patricia (nee Duffy) Nordell on December 3, 1948. She attended Juneau High School and received her degree in physical education from the University of Oshkosh. Jennifer married her husband, Paul Steinbach, on December 9, 1970 and pursued her career as teacher, mother and wife for the next 43 years.

Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Anika. She spent most of her spare time playing cards, doing crafts, garden art and traveling. She loved camping at State and National Parks, weekends away golfing with friends and doing outdoor activities.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Paul; her sons, Eric and Mark; her granddaughter, Anika; her sister, Nancy (Mark) Hackbarth; her brother, Dan Nordell; two aunts, one uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service for Jennifer will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Chaplain Dennis Richards officiating. A Memorial Gathering will take place prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will be served at Cornerstone immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jennifer’s memory to Hillside Hospice, 707 S. University Ave., Beaver Dam, WI 53916, would be appreciated.
